1. Scope of Warranty
This Warranty & Maintenance Policy applies exclusively to the original end purchaser of embroidery machines, accessories, and related products manufactured and sold by Sunsure or its authorized distributors. This warranty is non-transferable.
Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, Sunsure warrants that the covered products shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and intended use during the applicable warranty period.
2. Warranty Obligations
During the applicable warranty period, if a defect covered under this policy is confirmed, Sunsure shall, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the defective product or component; or
- Replace the defective product or component with a new or refurbished equivalent.
All warranty services must be performed by, or expressly authorized in advance by, a Sunsure Authorized Service Representative. Any unauthorized repair, modification, or disassembly shall immediately void this warranty.
This warranty covers parts and labor only. Costs not expressly included—such as shipping, freight, customs, transportation, accommodation, and technician travel expenses for onsite service—are excluded and shall be borne by the customer.
Prior to any onsite service dispatch, the customer must cooperate with Sunsure technical support to complete remote diagnostics and basic troubleshooting. Onsite service, if approved, shall be subject to the customer’s agreement to cover all related expenses.
3. Warranty Exclusions
This Limited Warranty does not apply to the following:
3.1 Product Status
- Second-hand, resold, or transferred machines, unless accompanied by valid original proof of purchase and expressly approved by Sunsure.
3.2 Improper Use or External Causes
- Acts of God or force majeure events
- Unauthorized modification, repair, or alteration
- Use of non-Sunsure approved parts, accessories, or consumables
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, or improper operation
- Improper installation, insufficient training, or incorrect setup
- Improper digitizing, file errors, or software misuse
3.3 Maintenance and Environment
- Normal wear and tear
- Failure to perform required or recommended maintenance
- Failure to follow operating, maintenance, or safety instructions
- Unsuitable environmental conditions
- Electrical supply instability, grounding issues, or voltage fluctuations
3.4 Other
- Any condition outside Sunsure’s reasonable control
- Any service request beyond the scope of this warranty
Notice:
This warranty shall be void if the serial number or nameplate has been altered, removed, or damaged, or if the machine has been modified without prior written authorization from Sunsure.
4. Warranty Period
The warranty period commences on the date the product is delivered by the carrier to the designated consignee or receiving location.

4.1 Consumable Components (Excluded)
Consumable and expendable components are excluded from warranty coverage, including but not limited to needles, bobbin cases, rotary hooks, machine oil, USB storage devices, needle bar reciprocators, and plastic spiral bevel gears.
5. Warranty Service Procedure
To request warranty service, the customer must contact Sunsure Customer Support within the warranty period and provide:
- Product model and serial number
- Purchaser’s name and contact information
- Proof of purchase
- Detailed description of the reported issue
Sunsure reserves the right to determine warranty eligibility. Services determined to fall outside warranty coverage shall be chargeable.
6. Maintenance Requirements
Proper maintenance is mandatory for the safe operation and long-term performance of Sunsure embroidery machines and is a condition of warranty coverage.
6.1 Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:
- Performing routine cleaning, lubrication, and inspection as specified in the Sunsure operation and maintenance manuals
- Using only Sunsure-approved consumables, lubricants, and replacement parts
- Ensuring operators are adequately trained before machine operation
- Maintaining a clean, dry, and properly ventilated operating environment
- Ensuring stable and compliant electrical power supply
- Stopping operation immediately if abnormal noise, vibration, or malfunction is detected and contacting Sunsure support
6.2 Maintenance Records
Sunsure reserves the right to request maintenance records or service logs when evaluating a warranty claim. Failure to provide reasonable evidence of proper maintenance may result in denial of warranty coverage.
6.3 Non-Compliance
Damage or failure resulting from inadequate maintenance, improper lubrication, contamination, or continued operation after a known fault shall not be covered under warranty and may result in additional repair charges.
7. Replacement Parts and Products
- Warranty repair parts may be new or refurbished and shall perform to equivalent functional standards.
- Replacement parts or machines are covered only for the remaining portion of the original warranty period.
- Replaced parts become the property of Sunsure.
If full replacement is required, Sunsure may provide a new or refurbished production unit at its discretion.
8. Limitation of Liability
Sunsure’s total liability under this Warranty & Maintenance Policy shall be limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective products or components.
In no event shall Sunsure’s liability exceed the original purchase price of the product subject to the claim. Sunsure shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business interruption, transportation costs, or legal fees, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Sunsure is domiciled. Any dispute arising from or related to this policy shall be submitted to the competent court of that jurisdiction.
This Warranty & Maintenance Policy constitutes the entire agreement regarding warranty and maintenance obligations and supersedes all prior representations or warranties, whether express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are excluded or limited to the duration of this policy.
